5 minute thumbnails done in my Moleskine sketch book

Last night my Girls came over for a drawing session at my studio. Barbara, Caileigh, Erika P and Wendy the Squirell.They were my Muses. This is what I managed to do. I'm really digging my japanese brush pens. #VinceMancusoArt. I hope the girls post there drawings. Show everyone what you guys did.

Art tip: There are 4 key tonal elements that exist on a form. the light value, the dark tone, the core shadow and the reflected light. Then you finish with a restrained highlight that only appears on the peaks of the forms closest to the direct light and any cast shadows that might occur because of overlap.

First pass, 5 minutes per panel.

Top frame from Star Wars, middle and bottom frames the Witcher. Fun and curious when movies crossover, while I'm drawing them in my black book. Ink brush, pen and pencil.

Back to it. I started do these in my 5x7 inch moleskine sketch book, last year. I found, I could simply divide the page into 3 hd proportioned frames per page, giving me 6 frames per double page spread. Now I'm going to complete the entire book in this format. I hope you guys don't get bored. When I'm done I will show you the entire book.
