The ELIPSE! x, y, and z axis. Understand it completely.
Project #3 : Draw all the forms and connect them with each other. You play a connecto game. Building architectural structure using all the forms. Explore different sizes to achieve optimal results.
By using the x ( width ), y ( height ) and z ( depth ) axis you can build accurate 3d forms. Connect, divide and build solid structure using the primary forms cube, sphere, cylinder, cone and pyramid. Put the primary forms together, whole or in sections and create structures that are made of all the various primary forms. Remember to always check your perspective and convergence. If something looks wrong or distorted, there is something wrong with your perspective or proportions. More is best. You will discover that the 3D form that you build with the primary forms will start to look like basic architecture and space satellites. The practice of connecting and joining in whole or in part these fundamental forms will empower you to drawing anything that you can imagine.
