project 7: Apply the rule of opposites to the humanoid Manikin Head and draw male and female heads.

Gender opposites. Here it is important to understand the law of averages. Averages are just that, a general rule or results. It does not address the specific. An abstract idea that can establish consistent criteria like the rule of opposites.

By thinking of the differences between men and women as opposites, we can create a list of criteria that can kind our drawings, so that we can draw consistently identifiable men and female heads

Line only, apply the specific facial features needed to represent a man and a woman. What is unique to this project is, by apply the rules of opposites in varying degrees you can develop different character types. Through repetition, control and mastery will catch up. In no time you will be drawing an entire cast of characters, but for now focus on men and women. In a way you are creating a your concept of a man and woman. You're Adam and you're Eve. The manikin head is always at the foundation of either a male or female head.
